Te Aho Tapu
Kia Ata Mai Educational Trust, in collaboration with Te Hua Kawariki Educational Trust and Aronui (Ngā Pou Tāhuhu), are proud to present ‘Rangaranga i Te Aho Tapu’, a Māori medium beginning teacher support programme.
‘Rangaranga i Te Aho Tapu’
is a support programme which uses a unique cultural framework to deliver all round support for beginning teachers their mentors and wider kura network. The programme design is based on key elements of the korowai weaving process from the foundation cord through to the final embellishments. The programme name is derived from the following whakataukī:
‘Rangaranga i Te Aho Tapu Kia Hua Mai Te Rangatiratanga’
